Finally did it. Had 29' Keystone delivered thursday and installed Flip-Over hitch and 5th. wheel adapter yesterday and today. Loaded this bad boy up late today and made an 40 mile run down Hwy 64 in NC and back home. This Cumminz is one bad truck. I could climb any hill on 64 with converter locked in and never got over 1100 on egts. I am truly impressed with this truck.
I have new pics of camper and hitch on the website. http://www.turbodieselregister.com/ubb/hihi.gif

Cumminz, it's a great hauling truck. I have a Jayco 24 foot travel trailer and carry motorcycles in the bed of the truck too. There is a park, Big South Fork, in TN. They have a grade that is about 2 miles at 13%. That's steep. It has two switchbacks in the middle so you can't pick up speed easily from the bottom but when the CTD comes out of the last switchback I'm picking up speed by the top of the hill. Maybe I'll see you camping sometime. My licence plate reads TURBOD, a KY plate.

I am looking to get a hitch in the bed of mine. What brand did you go with? Is it the goose ball, with the 5'er attachment?

Ball hitch is Popup Industries. 877.339.5704

My grandson and I installed the hitch in a couple hours. There are pics on my website below. It does not have 5er hitch listed. I went with the conversion and like it.

Big South Fork, is that close to Oneida? I have been in Oneida and that area many times on the job. I-75 also has a pretty good grade going north toward KenTuck.
I have heard a few guys complaining about their new CTDs and I hate that. This is the biggest bear of a truck I have ever owned.

Cumminz,
Yes, it is close to Oneida. In fact, you take Hwy. 297 west out of Oneida to get to the Bandy Creek Campground. It's a beautiful place with lots of trees, great sites for camping, and all amenities. They have horse stalls and trails so a lot of horse people there. Walking, bike, and ATV trails. You can even reserve on line since it's a National Park.
So far my CTD has been fine and I am quite happy with it.
