Am I right about this? (I would rather ride loaded on steel than on air or rubber)
It seems to me that the floating, top overload springs (GM 3500) that contact separate, frame mounted brackets make a significantly stronger setup than supersprings, or some other type that bolt-on to the main pack.
The floating overloads distribute a load over 4 points on the frame, instead of adding load to the existing, main spring mounting points.
