Hi,

I have a 1999 2500 diesel SLT burb and was wondering what these things are worth. It has approx 175,000 miles and is in very good shape. It has every option except heated seats. It also has the C6P option which I was told by the original owner is an even heavier duty chassis. As I said the original owner checked off every option except heated seats. What do you think it's worth? I might sell it in the near future. Thanks!

The question in my mind is how many people are looking for tanks like ours with diesel closing in on $5 per gallon? That could really knock the value down.

I was thinking about trading mine in for a newer D-Max. They have come down in price alot in the last few months. The lots are full of trucks they cant get rid of. I'm Afraid to see what they would give for a trade in if they would even want it. Might as well stick the $10,000 extra into what I have now.

Saw a spot on the local news last night, but likely is true everywhere....Dealers lots, both new AND used are currently choked with trucks, and SUV's.....Gas and Diesel. Talked to one local guy, said his F#&% Exploder has a KBB value of $8,500.00, best dealer trade in value he could find was $3,500.00. Two points here... 1) like it or not, our trucks are probably worth less, day by day. And 2) throw the KBB book away, it probably cannot adjust prices downward fast enough to keep up with the rising fuel prices. If you need the truck(or really want one, bad)now is a good time to shop, and shop carefully, IMHO.
