I want to remove my speed limiter for the track, but I figured out my Edge doesn't do that .
My dad has Hypertech on his LBZ which does it...Any cheaper methods that will work with my Juice???:D
Thanks!

Rick,
I know we've talked before, I see you went with the Edge. You must be related to Battlemax through some distant relative. I can still program the truck, or put switchable tuning on it with the Edge.
Battlemax can probably chime in more, but on his truck we saw 490RWHP on a Mustang dyno and cooler EGT's (I think) than the truck with the "Hot Unlock/Hypertech stack".

Rick, the best way to have the speed limiter removed is to have Nick do it using EFI Live, plus he can up the idle rpms to quite your clutch a bit. Running a stack is not the best thing IMO. I've run the Hypertech/hot juice stack and had better results then the hot juice alone but nothing even comes close to the tune Nick can put in your truck. It made 490rwhp/1000+ftlbs @ 2500 rpm where the dyno shut off, the HP curve was still going up and yes it has less EGT's then the stack. Traction is a huge problem now.

Were you running the Edge at all on the dyno or just Nick's tuning? If so, what level?
490rwhp and 1000+ ft lbs =!!!!!!!!!!!

The Edge was on but just as a gauge, no extra power. I have a DSP 2 switch and Nicks EFI tune is turned off and on through that. When the EFI tune is on the Edge tuning is blocked but it still works to see your egts and boost.

About to hijack...
I have heard this a few times but never confirmed... I am trying to save up enough money for EFI Live from Duramax tuners... but love my Attitude Monitor. I was hoping I could just set my Edge to "Zero"... and switch on one of Nick's screamers when the situation called for it.
Anybody know for sure if Edge on Zero advances timing?

When you switch to DSP2, as far as I can tell the Edge is off (no matter what setting you put it on). So you could be running Edge on level 5, decide that's not enough power - flip the switch to KILL on the DSP2 and go without worrying about the 'stack' issues.
That's how Battlemax's truck is set up.
