I'm looking for a transfer tank and toolbox combo. It's for a shortbed chevy and I can't seem to find anything to fit. I'd like it to be at least 50 gallon but at this point I'm open for anything!!!!

I believe NorthernTool.com has a few....and Highway Products seemed to be pretty popular....both of these are reasonably priced.

Transferflow and a few others are available as well......for a mint.

Might try doing a search for aux tank or transfer tank....I'm sure there is plenty of info to be had.

KSH Marine has several stock sizes to choose from. None of the sizes were what I wanted and they custom made one to my specs for close to the price of a stock one. I got a 9" deep tool box with a 55 gal tank.
A great feature I like about this tank is when the lid is closed you can not tell it is a fuel tank as the cap is under the lid. None of the other manufactures offer this that I found. They also use a one piece hinge for the lid, unlike others who use three small pieces of hinge.
Good people at KSH.

BTW....RDS makes the box/tanks for Northern Tool.

PM me if you have any questions. I should have pics in the next week or so.

I also had a KSH marine aluminum tank/toolbox custom built. It looked great when it arrived, but after installation and 10 gal fill testing, it leaked a lot. Pulled it out, call KSH, and they told me to take it locally to have it rewelded. It did and found it had over 10 holes in it, and very badly welded seams. $110 later it held fuel. It is a 100 gal tank which I put 95 gal in. It ran dry with 60 gals out of it which leads me to believe pickup is too high. It also runs dry about 1/2 full if you are on a up or down incline, which is the total sh-tz if you are on a narrow mountain road in Mexico, and you have no brakes nor power steering, plus you have to get out and prime the system at the filter in the middle of traffic. I have called KSH about this, but Brian has not returned my call in over a week. I'd not recommend KSH at this time. tom
