Not sure if I shoulda posted this in electronics or not, but here it goes anyways.
My cruize control is being wierd. It is all fine until you go down a steep hill, one that you would normally take your foot off the excellerator to remain the same speed. When this happens it's like it doesn't know whether to let off or keep on, so it starts jerking rapidly, just like what would happen if you jerked the pedal on and off really quickly. I just noticed it the other day for the first time, but I don't use it too often, mostly just on long trips, so who knows how long it has been like this.
Any ideas? Thanks..

I would try disconnecting the batteries overnight. I did that when I replaced my clutch pedal position switch. After replacement, I couldn't get cruise control. Once I disconnected the batteries overnight, and connected them up, I had cruise. Just a thought... Doesn't hurt. Figure that you might have a code on there that doesn't trip the engine light. Give it a shot..

I don't have the answer for you but I have the same problem. I just had my batteries go clear dead for several days, but thats probably not the same as having them disconnected. Keep posting here lets see if we can get some answers.

I will try disconnecting the batteries. I wonder if it has something to do with my PPE programmer. I used cruize quite often last summer when my truck was stock and it worked fine, but since last fall when I put everything in it I havn't really used cruize till now, and thats when it acted up. I wouldn't be suprised if it was because my programmer is all messed up anyways, I need to talk to PPE about it.
