I have a 2002 GMC 3500
A couple of months ago my ABS light started to come on but would go off if i stopped and restarted the engine.
Now the light stays on permanently.
2 different places tell me it is the EBCM which is well over 1000 to fix. One place said the code said it was the abcm.
Here is what the other place wrote on the invoice...
ABS light was from codes c0267 and c0268. One was a short at the pump motor and the other was an open at the pump motor. Both codes were NOT current. We cleared the codes but the light came back on.
Is it possible that it is NOT the ECBS module or the pump? Could it be a bad ground or a break in some wire?
Where would i find the ground wire at?
Thank you
