I dont know if this has already been discussed already or not but anyways i was messin around on the comp this morning and came across a biodiesel kit and knowing nothing about biodiesel i just wanted to get some insight from yall on the pro's and con's of running bio since my chevy will already take biodiesel...so what yall think ??

Go to the fluids section and or search for biodiesel. It has been discussed in great detail. Bottom line is bio is fine as long as you produce it and wash it correctly.

I run 10% in mine, as a result it runs more quiet and keeps my fuel system clean. Some guys are running 100% with no problems. The only problem is, always wanting to stop for french fries.:D

If you want to buy commercial biodiesel to see how you like it there are a couple of places selling it in Houston. They also offer classes in home brewing.
Biodiesel has a lower heat value than petroleum diesel so you lose a little bit of power and fuel economy. Depending on the feedstock I give up about 1-1.5 mpg in my suburban.
