Started my truck this a.m. and it ran about 10 seconds and then died. Tried cranking and it won't start. Voltmeter shows to be getting enough volts but it won't start. Could this be a fuel pump or the start of injector problems? It's currently about 72 degrees outside so not hot. I've got 58k miles so will GM hopefully cover this under the 100k warranty? Thanks in advance for any help/insight.

My buddies lb7 did the same thing almost every morning... it had air in the fuel line... he just bled the line right there by the passenger side...let the fuel run a few seconds then you should be good to go!

Yeah, it does happen if there's air present. Also check your batteries. Although they may be showing ok, try to jump start it, or use a charger with boost, then see if it starts. Although it may seem like it's turning over ok, it may not be spinning over fast enough. This just recently happened to my buddies 01.

Thanks for the info folks. The fuel filter housing had a crack in it so I was losing pressure. Got it back this a.m. and all's well....except for diesel went up again! :(
