Howdy ,
I was told that if i turned my rear shackels up side down i would get 3" drop
in the rear , is this true or do i have to buy lowering shackels????? :lol:

I seriously have no idea. Personally I think my truck is to low! I'm hung up everywhere as I do alot of off highway driving. Not exactly off roading but logging roads as that is what I do. Anyway I've never looked into lowering kits,maybe do a search. good luck:grd:

Tyrone is the only guy I know with a slammed truck out this way. He hangs up on driveways. Big Dually to. Nice spinner hubs though.

Thanks for the replies,It is a 2500hd , the rear is about 4 or 6 inchs higher than my son's 2000 ton.:shootself

If you had a compresion style shackle you could do that but you don't. Seeing how new your truck is the springs will settle a little in time maybe load it down good to speed it up. You could remove a spring in the pack but capacity would suffer.

look up the rear shackles, djm suspension, bell tech, would a good source if you want to take the rake down a little. take about 45 minutes to an hour to install both sides, not to bad on the price neither, and you can keep all your leafs in place.

Changing the height of one side of a leaf spring only will change pinion angle. How much depends on how much it's lowered.
