Iam thinking about swapping my single cd xm radio out of my 2500hd ('03), with the 6 disc xm radio that my dad has in his Sierra 1500 ('05), will I need to reflash if I do this or will it work without the reflash?

Yes you will need the dealer to reprogram both of them.
