Youtube for sounds. There's all kinds of 6.5 vids, from stock with no cat and muffler, to straight pipe, to open downpipe (LOUD, trust me) to 4" with no cat and muffler.

www.youtube.com/whitek2500 (http://www.youtube.com/whitek2500) I have some vids there of my setup, I have a 2.25" mandrel bent crossover 3" mandrel bent downpipe with a 3.5" DNA muffler on the end, and nothing after the muffler.

Now, what you do is dependant on what you want to do with the truck, if you tow heavy, I'd say toss the stock crossover (lots keep it, but I said why not) and stock downpipe, and get a 3" downpipe (A must, the stock one is crap-o-la) and 4" straightpipe, you can add a muffler if you want if you think it's too loud.

Whatever you do, you should toss the downpipe at the very least.

Heath Diesel, Kennedy Diesel, SSDiesel, BD diesel all have 3.5 or 4" exhaust for the 6.5, but most people seem to like Warpspeed (they are on ebay)

In my oppinion, I like my set up (except the black soot all over the underside of my bed) it's throaty at all rpms, turbo is very vocal, and when I really get on it, it sounds like a force to be reconed with.

Check your local emissions laws before making your descision. Some states visually check for the cat aka soot trap. Of course they can't see inside it...:evillol:

I actually want to have a cat on my system in stainless steel. But SS diesel only makes a cat in alluminumized steel. And they only sell systems with mufflers.
