Does anyone know where I can find a list of TSB's for a GMC C4500? I am trying to gather information on a problem I have been having with a new truck which in now at dealership for the same problem. They claimed they fixed it the first time and now, 170 miles later, the exact same thing happened.

I feel like I bought a lemon. :(

Jon,
I wish I never recommended you to buy a 4500. Im sorry to hear about your troubles. Is the dealer you bring your truck to upto snuff or are they a bit stupid. It seems that the issue is simple enough to be fixed the first time. You didnt get a lemon, you just need to get some bugs out.

Thanks Bill, you know I love the truck for the motor/trans combination. It's just very frustrating that you spend a lot of money an a new vehicle and you have to be towed twice within 170 miles.

The dealership is more than equipped to work on a C4500 as there are much bigger trucks in their bays. I agree, this is a stupid problem and there should be an easy fix. They said they replaced the MAS,but,I really think that they checked for codes, cleared them, test drove the truck, and when no engine lights came on,they said, there, its fixed.

Tomorrow, I am calling to speak with the service manager and the general manager to complain about what could be very dangerous in traffic when the truck decides to shut down. I will keep you posted.
