Last weak I posted a thread called why, why, why . It was about the famous p1093 code. Here is a recap: I have a 04.5 lly gmc 3500 dlly with 5000 mls. It has some ATS trans stuff including the co-pilot also cat back exaust and air intake . It did have at one time the edge juice with attitude but that was removed when I bought the truck. The truck throws the code stock!! I took it for a reflash and it still does it. I took it in again this time on a tow truck the steeler replace the fuel rail sensor(#97361561) stating that it had an intermittent electrical open in the fuel pressure sensor. They also checked all the injectores and a complete electrical system diagnostic for connectors c107 and c108. Well I got about a mile down the road and it through it again. The steeler said that the GM tech line doesn't have any other sujestions to solve the problem. The truck usually clears the code after it has been shut off. Has anyone been able to fix this problem at the dealer? I really don't want to spend 600 bucks for a FASS system. This is 50grand truck GM should be able to fix it.

What are you doing when it throws the code? Full throttle and let off or?
Does the truck seem to have above average power? Does it smoke black when you stomp on it?

You need to press the issue with GM......CALL THEM YOURSELF....YOU DEFINITELY DON'T NEED A LIFT PUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would assume you've replaced the fuel filter as a first option?
There is no tuner available that will suck enough fuel to throw constant 1093's for the LLY yet. Lord knows I've tried.
If it's not the filter, and not the fuel pressure sensor, there must be some kind of restriction in your fuel system would be my best guess.

Actually I think I've figured out a way to make mine do it on demand. But its nothing that anyone would do under normal driving situations.

It throws the code when I accelerate while I'm already moving. I'm not flooring it but it will throw the code when I do floor it. Boyd

My LLY had under 7,000 miles when it started to throw 1093's, infact it cause me my semi final bracket race at the summit et finals at Bakersfield, back then i didnt know what the code was i thought it was the Tranny. it threw the code a few times and i cleared them and then when away its been about 7,000 miles since and no problem, what could have caused it to just go away?

Yes I still have the factory air intake. But it was throwing the code before I put the after market one on.
