I just bought a new set of helo max 16x8 4in back space rims. I was woundering if anyone has run 305/70R16 on rims of this size on a stock 05 Dmax, with out to much rubbing. I might crank the t bars a bit if it will help.

Or the other opption is run 285/75R16

WELL ill ask a diffrent question then. What is the biggest tire anyone has run on a 8in wide rim at stock or leveled hight.

305/65/17 bfg km2 mud ta. I have heard a few say they are running 315 70's.

33" would be the biggest you could fit with just cranking the torsions or replacing the stock keys with lifting keys.

You can run a stock offset wheel as long as you dont run too wide of a tire.

basically, you will be fine with the Maxx 8 with a 0 offset running 285x75x16 tires, as long as you do something to pick the front end up 2.5"

thanks for the replys All the info helps I think I will go with the 285/75R16 just for better fit with less work, ill go bigger when it gets a lift.
