I have an 02 2500hd d/a with a Reading Classic II service body. I no longer need the service body, and would like to put on a standard box. What years will work, and can I use a box off of a 1500? Are there any tricks that I need to be aware of? Thanks,

Any bed of a new style will work, 8'. Keep your eye on a local chassis upfitter as they always seem to have some available. My local Chevy dealer has a few off brand new trucks complete with bumbers

My truck came with the pick up box delete option. Is the chassis any different than one that came with a bed?
