For 5th wheel hauling, does anyone have experience using/pulling with the Morryde replacement rubber pinbox on their camper. They claim it reduces the harsh, jerky, chucking action that comes from expansion joints and rough roads.
TrailerLife praises their use in a feature article. Does anyone have any personal experience???????????
Thank RON

I have the Trailair system on my 5th wheel and it works great... I've heard good things about the Morryde system also; but have never pulled with one... See my Truck Pics. below.......Triffid

I don't have the Mor/ryde pin box, but I did have the stock leaf spring suspension replaced with the Mor/ryde IS suspension. This is a full 4 wheel independant suspension for the trailer. The 5th wheel now rides so much smoother, I have no problems with jerking between the trailer and the truck. An air or rubber pin box only isolates the truck from the trailer but does nothing to reduce wear and tear on the trailer. Invest in trailer suspension upgrades first and a pin box upgrade as a last resort.
