Lets see all of the painted LMM Silverado Front ends. Trying to figure out how much of mine im going to paint. I definatly will do the big chrome parts on the ends of the bumper, but not sure what to do with the grille, bumper center, and plastic lower portion of the bumper. Love to see everyone elses!

I love that truck...I think it looks so badass. I didnt really like how the new body style chevy's looked until I saw MMLMM's truck.

i want to do either the ears white or the whole front white including the middle metal and lower black part where the tow hooks go through...the ears arn't metal like the middle chrome part and i am worried about chipping paint in the lower middle or other parts.....either way when i do it i am also sending the hood louvers (plastic hood vent fakes) along with the mirrors to get them all white as well

Ya, that looks great. Should of come from the factory like that in my opinion.

Nice work.

The one advantage to the stock chrome is less rock chips in black paint to deal with. :)

I just picked my truck up 3 days ago, but will probably be painting my front end black as well, then have VentureShield installed to protect it.

Clear bra. Like the 3M stuff, but much better. Thinner, stronger, and much better looking.

I was also possibly thinking about just having the front lower half done with Line-X. Would be durable and easy to clean with a pressure washer.

Just not that often but I still hang out and read posts.

Thanks for the comments on my truck.

Right now the truck is own, doing a full motor build. Grenaded the oil pump and spun a main at a race in Ca. We should have it up and running in the next week or 2 at max.

Here is a few pics of thee painted front end.

I know the chrome end caps tend to flake fairly easily after they've been hit with a couple rocks and what not. When your painting them are you deplating the caps first? And if so how?

The top & bottom grills cost me $275 (carriage works) the grill in the bumper I made from a 03 yukon grill. My buddy owns a shop and charged me $100 to smooth & paint the valance.
