Will they fit on stock rims without rubbing? Will I need to crank the torsion bars? I searched the forum, but couldn't find the answer. I sure its on here somewhere. Thanks.

May have to trim just a tad bit of the inner plastic fender but you may not. Cranked the torsion bars a turn or two and you should be good to go.

i bought my truck brand new from the dealer, and they recommeded a trukkks 3inch front 1 inch back leveling kit. they installed it for 600 dollars, and the ride is great. never have to worry about tires rubbing. i have 285/70/17 bfg at ko's on the stock rims. looks good, and drives great.

I just put 285/70/r17'S on tuesday night. I just cranked the T-Bars (3) turns, trimmed my mud flaps and ties the E-Brake cable back. Know if I can figure out why my tire warning light won't shut off......

what do you mean tie back the e brake cable?

The e brake cable is on the left and it causes the flap to push out a little causing it to hit on over sized tires. I used a zip tie on mine and didn't need to trim at all. However I did crank the torsion bars a little.

The only trimming was my mud flaps, that's it. If you do not have flaPS then you can just crank the T-Bars and Cable Tie the E-Brake Cable.

You will have a crank the t-bars a little bit. I've heard people say the stock 265's rub a little if you flex it good. It's all a matter of how the truck was setup from the factory. I wanted maximum lift so I put in green keys but they're not cranked all the way. rear is stock and I'm level with 285/70/17's even with a trailer on my hitch.

My factory 265/70/17 rubbed on the fender well beacuse of the parking brake cable until I fixed it.
