Ok guys...quick question since I've searched and haven't found the answer. I just went to the local Advance Auto Parts and bought an oil filter for my new LMM. The guy behind the counter told me that he thought the PF2232 was the right number for the AC Delco oil filter for my LMM and acted like he really wasn't sure. So I look to you and am wanting to make sure before I do my first oil change that this is the correct part number? I just hate to get halfway into the oil change and wind up with the wrong oil filter.

That's the AC part number I have listed on my cross reference sheet. Here are a few others in case you're in a pinch (I've always used Baldwin and have always had good oil analysis results. I started to use the Amsoil filter this past oil change to compare):

I did...it's a black-colored filter and doesn't have a brand name on it that I can find...that's why I was just wanting to make double sure...since this is my first oil change...the only part number I can find on it is...8972149834

the AC ones I find at Autozone for 7.99 and Advance Auto Part they are about 8.38.

The Black OEM Oil Filter on the Duramaxs are the Isuzu filters put on at the factory. They are excellent quality, but tough to find for replacement. The AC Delco's are just as good.
