: 05 with Edge Additude slip?

Nothing in the edge instructions says anything about the slip monitor in the additude. Stock I have 0.0% slip then as I increase the HP it starts to get slip up to 30% but its weird sometimes it just has a number wtih no % sign anyone know what that means?

Next question when I installed the box a couple days ago my truck pulled like crazy hard on extreme on the highway now today (yes its warmed up) it hardly pulls at all almost stock feeling. Those of you with the box know about the huge accelleration increase it had over stock when you installed it.

Does the box somewhat defuel when its colder outside it was -15* today? What is normal slip for that gauge to read? How much is to much (Im guessing any) EGT's are also way down compared to when I first installed it leading me to beleive that its not fueling as much or at all. I was hitting 1300 on extreme at fist now only 1100's.

Also yesterday all my way to work I got NO power increase my slip just read 100 the whole time and would say N if I stopped but 100 as soon as I moved. Today its back to 0.0% - 30% when I get on it but the truck feels really slow now.

Any help guys?

I'd contact edge and let them know about the problem. This is an important step since it will let them know what kinds of problems people are having and also they can address your issue and probably replace your attitude and/or edge unit if needed.

Motor has to be at 180 or higher before the Edge will start putting out. As for slip, the tranny needs to be locked in to gear in order to check for slippage, they all show slip if the Torq is not locked.

the edge from what I hear pretty much turns ON right at 180 degree engine temp. a buddy of mine was having issues because where he lives, like you, is super cold and the engine temp would never get that high. He is working with their engineers to see what they can do. so basically, when you feel you have no power, the Edge is not even on yet.. hope this makes sense and helps

Seems now that I have installed my Bra on the truck and keep the engine temp above 180 I have no problems. Once it hits 180 my edge kicks in. I also noticed that if I get it to 180 and I leave it idle and it goes back to say 160 when its really cold out the edge is still enabled.
