I ran mine about 30 miles after the light came on and put 24.8 gallons in it. This is why I installed the Transferflow 45 gallon replacement tank with the Nicktane cat filter.
I put alot of miles on in a year and love the extra miles between fuel stops.

Tanks are 10% more capacity than listed to allow for expansion in hot climates. In the winter you get to use it all LOL ha ha ha

That is why I like my long bed. I have a 34 gallon tank. Does anyone know if an extra tank can be installed and connected to the original tank to double up? I don't want to add a tank in the bed, I use it all the time and can't lose any space.
gottago, I would like the extra mileage as well, but the $$$ it takes to fill up would hurt my wallet...

Thanks for the info. But WOW, for $771 I think I will stick with my normal weekly fill-up. I was hoping for price closer to the $150 - $200 range. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
