Getting ready to install a boost guage in the truck. I am well aware of how to install a boost gauge but haven't even looked at this manifold closely yet. Are there any threaded "bungs" in the intake system that are easy tapping points? Are there any vacuum lines to tee off of? Any advanced wisdom would be great!

In addition I am also installing a pyrometer. Obviously it goes on the outlet side of the turbo but is there a specific spot that everyone agrees on? Any tricks before I drill?

Thanks

Most mount the pyro pre-turbo.

Do a search for gauge install and you will find all you need.

Detonate, Look in the "do it yourself" thread at Brandon Meyers "Guide to Gauge Hotness" for the most comprehensive gauge install write up I have ever seen...excellent pictures and text on how to do this. Also, spare yourself a lot of trouble on tapping into the intake manifold and buy one of Superdiesels manifolds that replaces the factory rubber hose on the intercooler tube right before the intake manifold. It has already been drilled and tapped for the fitting for your boost gauge. You'll see it in the pictures.
