I have an 03 silverado, and am wondering , from anyone who has installed a gauge pillar, where do you route the wires from exit point of the pillar? I've read that some have gone from the pillar bottom to simply routing over the seal of the door / cab, but this seems a tad sloppy to me. Anyone perform the install in a different manner, routing wise?? The gauges are a boost, and a pyro, both autometer.
Thanks in advance.

u can go threw the fire wall with the use of a rubber gromet and drill that is what a friend of mine did

You can go down behind the dash and through the fuse box panel under the dash. From there, I drilled a 1" hole in the fire wall where it is flattened out above the gas pedal where the old throttle cable would pass through. Get a 1" rubber grommet to seal it off and continue with your wiring.

I'm having a little trouble visualizing where the wires would run where they would not be exposed. How do you get "behind the dash"? Aren't there wires under the factory pillar from the mirror etc? Couldn't the wires be run with these? Going through the firewall would be under the dash, right? Thanks.
