If i have the vertical tow mirrors on a 08 LTZ LMM can I swap them for the regular mirrors or is there more to this? Will all the buttons and functions work the same?

Yes and no... depending on which mirrors you get/want... if you want the power fold in mirrors you will have to change the switch panel that has the controls on it, if you just want the regular power heated mirrors they should work by just swapping them... I happen to have a set of these and I want the towing mirrors... so if you wanna trade :D

i also have a 08 with the nice painted black, power,heated and auto dimming from the cars behind. got about 200 miles on the truck. looking for the heated power vertical tow mirrors. will trade to ty mike knowles
