Put the module on the back side of the breaker panel.

Other than the cables, you don't see anything.

It might be shielded from heat there also.

IMHO

I put my module in the same place too. Thing is that the plugs look like they could have been a bit cleaner. Ill go out and take a picture and try to post it in a few. Any tips on how to post pictures?

Here is a Pic of the A-pillar mount for the Attitude and How I mounted the Edge. Can be easily removed by cutting the Zip Ties. I Didn't want any sign of anything uder the hood, like velcro.

I have a ? for you. if you didn't want any velcro or anything under tyhe hood what do you do with the inside, pillar mount and the attitude? I like the pillar mount but how do you explain it to the dealer?

The A-pillar clips over the stock Pillar. No glue, tape, Velcro, holes…. Nothing. There is a Flange on the outside edge that holds it in. I have the Attitude wire running thru the hood release grommet. If I need it out, just pop the pillar off, pull the wire thru the hole and pop the grommet back in place. Cut the zip ties and take the Edge out. As for the EGT probe, I bought a pipe cap that will screw on to the top of the thermo coupler fitting. This way I don’t have to explain why I have wires running across the motor that lead to nothing. The only way they will see the fitting is if they look for it, then I just tell them I had a guy at work tap the hole for me and am waiting on Buddy#2 to come over and put in the gauges when he has time.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Salmonbum,

Where did you get the snap over pillar mount. That look real clean and efficient and therefor no need to drill holes for the mount that comes with the attitude.

Mark @DPPI. I think it was $60. The Attitude wire goes between that and the stock A-Pillar.

I used velcro to put mine on the front of the dash just below were you have yours. I don't have push button 4X4 so I ran the wire throught there.

Salmonbum, Why not leave the probe in and if dealer asks "What's this" just give him the story that buddy #2 has yet to come install the gauge? That's what I do.

tabtasu, Aaron at www.apdieselperformance.com (http://www.apdieselperformance.com/) also has the pillar mount for the Attitude with "excellent" customer service!! :ro) (That's where I got mine.)

With the wire sitting there he will for sure ask "what's this?". With it not visible, there is a greater chance that the subject will never be brought up. And if it does, Buddy #2 has the gauges and such;) .

F@#!#@ dealers are worse than cops...Okay well maybe not that bad.

Ohh yeah, I almost forgot, I ran my attitude wire through the main wire bundle next to the steering columm. I like the hood relaese cable idea better.

First, I took the stock A-pillar off. This made it easier to run the Attitude wire down. Reinstall the Pillar with the wire “outside” the stock Pillar. Then just snap on the New Pillar over the stock. That’s it. Take the hood release grommet and pull it out of the firewall. Pass the wire thru the hole, the push the grommet back in the hole. You can only get about 65% of it back in. Next I just unplugged the factory harnesses and plugged the Edge’s in. The larger one was a bit tricky. The stock one doesn’t have enough extra wire to make it easy. Then I took the Edge box and mounted it under the hood cross member with zip ties. Done!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

kind of what I thought, No matter how you try to organize the module wire harness it just wont look factory fit. What the hell anyways for an extra 60 HP at the push of the button...who cares!
Thanks for the pics Salmonbum

Does the pillar mount have any effect on the tweeter located on the bottom of the existing pillar?

Will the edge chip hurt the motor any? and is it worth the $$$$? or what is the best chip?
