will the (change fuel filter) light go off automatically after changing or do you have to reset it somehow?

You must reset it manually. I think how to reset it is, you hit the info button until the fuel filter life is showing, then hit and hold down the check button, the one on the bottom. It seems to be the one that resets everything such as timer, gallons used, etc. Haven't tried resetting mine yet. Someone else will probably post up soon.
