I am still fighting a PMD issue I have a remote mounted PMD and I have replaced two in the last 6 months. Don't know what the problem is. The last PMD burned up and I allmost had a fire. I think I am going to buy a spare to carry with me. Where is a good place to buy a PMD and is the after market one better than the OEM.

Describe the manner in which these PMD are cooled, I.e.: on what sort of heat sink are they afixed? And, their status when installed - I.e.: new, "good used" (lol) etc? And, where they are mounted.

in your case your best bet would probably be the Heath Diesel kit. 7 year warranty, it just bolts on(two different locations depending on 2wd or 4X4) and you plug it in. i have one installed on my truck and the hardest part was disconnecting the stock PMD that was on the pump. overall it took me 10-15 minutes to install.
