Hello, new to the Diesel Place Forum. I'm hoping you can help me with some answers. If I should be in another category for this type of question, please let me know, I'm not sensitive :D
I have a 2006 Chevy Duramax (2500HD_LB_CrewCab_4by4_6.6 Turbo) Everything is stock except for my Airaid quick fit filter. I commute about 100 miles a day (total) on average (50,000 miles on truck) and I'm looking for some tips to improve my MPG with out going overboard on the checkbook.
I figured the most obvious is exhaust, should I do the cat back? I don't want to screw my warranty up (I'm not rich and my warranty has already paid off big-time for me - I have miles to go on it.) My main questions are..
How to improve my MPG?
If exhaust is one of many good answers...(Which is where I think I should head..)
What brands are good?
Which one sucks?
Other tips, advice, experiences? Good or Bad I take 'em all.
Thanks
