Looking to buy a tuner to help a little with the fuel prices at close to $5.00..I'm looking at the predator. I'm mostly going for fuel mileage, and with all the reading I have been doing here it seems like the way to go. I will not brake the bank, get a little more mileage and HP, and best of all I guess its the easiest on the truck.. 2007 CC LBZ

Now where is the best ( and cheapest) place to pick up a predator.. any vendors you can recommend...

Running a Predator on my LBZ, it is completely awesome, gained 3-4 mpg and the power is just unbelievable . I use the 65 hp setting for fuel milage and the 45 hp for towing. You will love it and so simple to use. :)

Our new used 2500HD got a tick over 16 mpg (16.05 mpg) pulling the horse trailer this weekend - 90% freeway at 55 mph - on the 45hp tune. Before the tune, we averaged right at 15 mpg on several previous hauls with the same driving conditions and percentages. I'm quite pleased since I never thought we would get close to 16 mpg pulling anything (our Yukon Denali used to get 7-7.5 mpg pulling our horse trailer).

Your gonna find that Diablo Sport just put a price fix into play so your not going to find any better deals on them. We do ship them next day air for free, so that helps a bit. Let me know if I can help.

You're lucky. I haven't picked up anything with mine, maybe 1 mpg. I use the same settings as you do. Although my truck has a 17.5 mpg life to date average so I can't complain in 45K. It consistently gets 17-18 on my commute and 19-20 on the highway. I think my best gains will be on the highway that I can see.

It will give you better milage if you stay off the throttle, good luck with that though. In all it is a great tuner, i have talked three friends into buying it so far.

The Predator is an Awsome tuner, but I can't say that I picked up a whole lot in the MPG department.
