Iv'e read a lot of threads that refer to limping the tranny, but have not found out exactly how you fix the problem after it occurs. I run a Predator and have played with the 120 HP setting but as of yet haven't limped the tranny. Is there a thread that tells how to keep driving or how to fix it. Just wanted to know what to do when or if it happens.

If you limp the tranny, more than likely the torque converter will be locked. Which means that you will either have the tranny in tow\haul or, you will be in 5th gear.
If this happens the tranny will shift into, what feels like neutral, and the "service engine soon" light will come on.
All you have to do is come to a complete stop, put tranny in park, and shut the truck off for, somewheres around 10 seconds.
Start the truck, and drive normally. The engine light will go out a handful of miles down the road. (10-75 miles)
Don't continuously limp the tranny, because you will end up ruining it prematurely.
Next step, save a few thousand $ and have the upgrades done.:grd:
Then beat on it all day:ro)

Thanks dmax. I hope it doesn't happen soon but the 36,000 mark is coming up on the ally and I will up grade the tranny to handel the extra power.
