It has been mentioned on the forum that if you have Allison change the fluid before the truck has 36K miles, they will extend the warranty to 100K. I called an Allison center, they said all warranty work is done through GM at the dealer. I spoke to our local service manager, and he said that there is no such thing as GM extending it w/a fluid change. Does anybody know if any of the above is true?

36K-100K sounds really far fetched for just doing a fluid change.

I think that it pertains to there commercial stuff. Not us
