I have a 94 2500 4X4 with 220,000. I show 2-3# boost cruising at 30MPH or 60MPH. From 30MPH foot on the floor to 60MPH the most boost I get is 9-9.5#. Then it drops back to about 3# cruising at 55-60PH. Last fill I got 13.4. Granted I lost somewhat less than 1gal. due to a broken return line. Maybe next tank will be better. If I break 15mpg I will be happy. My 97 F-150 manual trans. 4X4 w/67000mi. gasser is lucky to see 14mpg
Should I see more boost?? I'm thinking of getting that manual waste gate controller to set boost a little higher. What do you guys think about the current performance of mine?:confused:

Should work just fine with a mech WG controller.
I see that you have a boost and pyro gauge, so I would either buy a mech WG controller or fabricate one and throw it on. If you do not get a reflashed ECM, then I wouldn't go higher than 10 PSI, otherwise your MAP sensor will trigger the engine to de-fuel and go into 'limp' mode.
When you are cruising, with a mech WG controller, you shouldn't see your PSI drop at cruising. The idea behind it, as I am sure you're aware, is that it is spring loaded...as the boost meets and starts to exceed the tension strength of the spring, it should force the spring to start opening, bleeding off the extra boost pressure.
As for the fuel mileage, have you checked your fuel filter and air filters? Mine were pretty dirty when I replaced them, and I noticed an immediate economy boost as well as power. Of course, adding a cold air intake and replacing the stock exhaust with a turbo back kit will help with the economy as well. How old are your injectors? If they are the originals, I would definitely look at replacing them.
Good luck.

I don't know how old the injectors are. The filters are all new.

Do you have excessive smoke while the truck is running? That's an indication of injectors going south. If you don't know how old the injectors are, I'd replace them. You may PM DieselPro and see if he has any. He sold some (rebuilt Bosch) to me for a very reasonable price.
Below is what a bad injector can do to your precup....you don't want to see the piston for that cylinder. It's not pretty.
