I need to purchase a pyro and boost gauge and either a pillar mount or the upper cubby mount, i was thinking the pillar mount might be a little easier install, autometer looks pretty good as far as gauges, so i was hoping for some input from yall . thanks

Lots of options. My garage has Autometer Sport Comp II's in the pillar. Pretty close match to the factory guages with LED lighting that's been mod's so it's not so bright at night.
Do a search for some pics from other members. Been discussed many times in the past. Good luck with your decision.

THANKS ,I have seen some pillar mounts with three gauge holes, i assume that would be for pyro, boost and tranny temp, is the factory t,temp gauge that bad?

I have the upper cubby mount (done by the guys at MPL (http://www.mplmotorsports.com) motorsports) and i love it. Doesnt interfere with your line of sight, the guages arent annoying-bright, but they are easy to read when you need them (just two, obviously, 3 wont fit in the cubby).
Lots to choose from!

Factory transmission temp guage is fairly accurate (for me anyways). Some will add a differential temp guage or oil pressure guage.

Check out the Autometer Cobalts, very easy to see at night due to the blue LED lighting and the black face matches the dark charcoal interior well.
BTW.. alot of people will use the third pod for a fuel pressure gauge if they have a lift pump. You can use it for any gauge. I personally think, after having two gauges on the pillar, the third would be distracting in your peripheral vision. Just my $.02

I run the auto meter Z series guages. I like them because the bezel is black and so is the face.

pics of Isspro 2 guage in garage if interested, and as the previous post stated, black bezel and black face. Matches LMM guages well.

Not sure if it's the best, but X2 on installing the ISSPro gauges here, too. I installed the EV Series (boost and pyro) in Guy Tripp's overhead mount in the '07 Chevy in my sig. Smooth operation and no issues.
