A couple of days ago I got to work and turned the switch off, the easy exit seat crammed me into the dash.

The next morning when I started my truck the time on the radio was at
12:00 am. The actual time was 6:30 am. Had to reset time.

Yesterday I had driven my truck with everything ok. I started it in the afternoon and none of the gauges were working. I turned it off and restarted it and everything worked.

I'm afraid to get in it today!

Any ideas anyone.

Bet you have a battery going bad-- The gauges need at least 10 volts to wake up. Also affects the radio. Have them load tested, but be sure they isolate them to test because they are connected together.

If it's not battery - it's probably a loose or weak ground.

Thanks for the replies.
I was thinking maybe the batteries were getting weak but wasn't sure. I'll get them checked.
Thanks again

A buddy of mine's 2003 had similar issues and the dealer finally found the wire bundle that runs in front of the brake master cylinder was touching and had rubbed enough to short a wire or 2 to ground. He was having all sorts of electrical issues including engine stalling. May not be your problem but may help someone else.
