Just wondering if anyone has added an extra monitor to there OEM DVD player?:help:

I looked into that last year. The big problem is that the OEM DVD player doesn't have a video out to run your signal to the visor monitor. My reaserch revealed 2 possible route to follow.

1. There is a company out there that will perform the mod for you, but it is expensive, over 1k. For that kind of dough you can get a trick aftermarket one.
2. Pull it apart, and tap into the signal wires and make your own video out. I believe it is pin 4 for vid+ pin 5 for vid- and pin 13 for gnd. (this is for 04, may be different for other years)

I gave you faulty information. It is truely sad when I can't even remember my own research notes. Here are the correct pinouts for the 04 model year.

Pin 5 is Video + Pin 13 is Video - Pin 14 is Shield.
