I have seen a lot of posts lately from guys looking to purchase a 6.5 TD.
Something like this needs to be in the stickies.
Okay you are interested in buying a 6.5 turbo diesel. What do you need to know before you make your purchase and what you need to check before you make your purchase?
1. Do they have maintenance records and how far back do they go?
2. Has all maintenance been done in accordance to manufacturer timetable?
3. Is the PMD remounted outside the engine compartment?
4. Has the IP been replaced? When and how many miles were on it when replaced?

This is just a guideline. I know some of the info is already in various sticky threads but I thought it would be a good idea to have something labeled specifically for those looking to purchase.
