So is it the torque converter that is the weak spot of the allison or the transmission it self i dunno if this has been covered or not. I'm just curious.

depends on the weak spot your referring too. The conv design is decent, but lacking. The C2-3 clutches are also prone to failure on higher powered trucks. C4 will show some abuse with alot of hard 1-2 shifts. C1 will burn with boosted launches... good news is that C5 holds up well!

i've noticed that give i'm cruzin in 5th gear and go to wot the torque converter will lock and it won't slip. But the other gears tend to slip alittle.

is a torque converter help with the slip i only use stage 3 on the edge.

level 3 on juice should be ok on the converter, 5th gear the converter should also be locked.
Put it in T/H mode and see what u get (2nd-5th converter is locked).

i tryed in it tow haul and i got very limited slipage compared to tow haul being off. Pulls Hard. = ):h
