i have a 2003 silverado 2500HD gasser with the 6.0 and i got the service 4wd on the dic a couple of times but has not done it in like 2 months and i was doing some re-search and i see that a lot of the time it is the encoder motor and it just stops working and can throw your car in to 4wd Hi or Lo and you may not be able to get it out. so i was going to do the MA pump upgrade b4 the pump and rub happens and redo the seals and the the blocking rings so that i will not have to deal with it again. so what do you think about the encoder motor should i get a new one or let it be and if their is any thing else i need to do this any input would be nice.
