BlueDMax 02-16-2005, 08:06 PM Well finally down to getting that lower restrictive exhaust. I decided on the MBPR T409 SS sinlge exhaust system. Only decision left is which tip. Is there any audiable differences between the tips offered? Is there an advantage in the double walled vs. the single wall tips? wakeboarder 02-17-2005, 10:10 AM I have the double walled slash cut. No audible difference. I would look into a longer tip though. I would prefer a 24'' tip vs 12''. If they made my tip in a 24'' I would buy on today. Mark Craig 02-18-2005, 10:13 AM BlueDMax, We have had folks tell us on occassion that the tips can make a sound difference I have listened to zillions of them over the years and have never been able to hear any muslef though. The dual wall tips are 10.00 more but are really nice looking and give the systems a bit of "class", not that the single walls aren't great looking. It's just for the 10.00 difference the dual wall tips are just waaaay worth it to me. They are what I run on my truck if that means anything, and we sell more of them than any other tip combined!
