I have an 01 GMC 2500HD and the other day I noticed small puffs of white smoke from the exhaust when it was parked. So I called Westfall GMC and found out my warranty expires June 9th. So I take it in tomorrow when I wake up. My question is what else could it be? I'm a little worried cause obviously if they don't find that its the excess fuel problem then I have to pay for the labor for them to find out what it is. Since its only little amounts of smoke and not pouring it out like some one here are experiencing. Is there anything I can do to check if its anything else or just take it in and see what the diagnosis is?

OH and yesterday was the first time I'd seen smoke. And I even looked for it later that day and didn't see anything.

Check for fuel in oil. If it's there let them know.
