I am really new to this and have some questions about LP Gas.

Currently my 02 2500HD is getting about 15.8 mpg, regardless of highway or city driving. I have been looking through the forum at ways to try and improve the milage when I came upon a thread about putting LP gas on one.

The statement was that with LP Gas, the guy was getting 30 MPG. Are you guys really getting 30 Miles per gallon or am I mis reading this.

What are the cons of adding this stuff to the engine? Is it hard to do and how xpensive is it to put in?

Thanks for the feedback.

You are getting 30mpg on Diesel but you are making up for the diesel with propane. In the end it would cost you very similar for the combined fuel.

What he said. I am the one who has gotten up to 30 mpg. When you add the cost of the lp it is about the same cost per mile. The advantages are quieter running, cleaner burning, and more power. However, it is nice to get up to 950 miles to a tank of diesel! It is super easy to do with my system, much easier than on a gas engine. Hardest part is mounting a tank. PM me or read my other posts for more info, it has been discussed alot.
