Just installed exhaust on my 03 cc/sb 4x4. This is the third banks system I have put on various trucks. It is louder in the cab than I thought it would be. MAybe cause the dmax is so quiet to begin with. It is not a drone as much as the sound when I ran glass packs on my gassers. Has anyone else noticed this? If so any way to quiet down in cab? Resonator? Have heard that MBRP is fairly quiet but can't throw 4-500$ around switching exhaust. Thanks for any replies.:)

A second muffler or resonator will help but, where to put it and more $$$$. I took my banks monster exhaust off because it was too loud. It was O.K. around town and I really liked it but when I loaded the camper and hit the hills it was too much for me on a long haul.

Aero turbine has a muffler with resonator built in I may put in my stock exhaust to get better flow, they tell me it will be much quieter than the banks.

Did you put your stock system back on? What about switching the banks muffler for a quieter one, if there is one? I read on another thread somewhere that the aeroturbine was quite loud? Not quite sure.
