You are not stealing this truck, but for being early-mid model year, I'd say that you are getting a good price.

Price should be around $40,000. if you are talking Gm Employee discount for buying off the lot.

Not an employee, my friend works at the Astro/Safari van plant and gave me a prospect discount #.

I don't have any discounts to deal with and I've been offered a deal of $42,750 for a truck that stickers at $47,670....so $4900 off. By far the best "no haggle" offer I received so far. Not too bad but I see you're getting $1000 more with the "driveway" discount.

Update:

I found a dealer that would accept the GM Supplier discount on an "in stock" truck. Basically, the price quoted is $5400 off the sticket of $46,735.

I just purchased a 2005 2500 hd non diesel work truck with the suppliers discount. Enjoyed the deal more than any vehicle I have ever bought. The truck was 36,700. (included 4 wheel, club cab, long bed, electric locks and windows) suppliers discount was $4000, GM rebate was another $3000 and if you went with GM financing you got another $1000. Truck ended up 28,700. Dealer did not have the truck in stock, had to get it from another dealer. No document fees, no dealer fees or any of it. Dealer threw in 25 free oil changes. I liked it.
