I dont know if this is the right place to ask, but I'll give it a shot.

A while ago, I bought a reese 10,000/1000lb weight distributing hitch with sway control from a fellow to tow a car trailer, but I ended up building a 32 foot gooseneck and have no need for it. The problem is it is missing the parts for the trailer side, as he sold the trailer without taking them off. I dont need this thing anymore so what is it worth? Does it have a value, ie: can someone buy the missing brackets?

Just curious, I was going to ask $100 for it, is that too much? I have seen them new for $379-400. I paid $150, but I just want it gone... IS $100 too much to ask?

Thanks Christian.

It'll take the right buyer. Most people that need them, have them, and for someone buying their 1st trailer, most will get it with the unit. Pesonally, I think you'll have a hard time getting rid of it for that. I could be wrong.

I'd let it go for less, i dont wanna lose my shirt but i'm definately willing to deal or lower the price substaintially, I dont know what it's worth....

This thread should really be posted in the market place if it is going to be up for sale, but I will allow the question and monitor the thread. I can see the type of question that is being asked. Thanks. You want to try and see if a local trailer shop or a uhaul near you is interested in buying it. Just a suggestion. ;)
