: Re-useable program?

I am very new to all concept of diesel power adders. My wife and I own a '03 dmax/ally Silverado and we tow a 34' Cougar 5er. I'd like to try a re-programmer
(Edge?) at a low setting, simply to improve the truck's pulling ability.
My question is: is it possible to return the computer to it's factory setting? I'd like to compare pulling with the "Edge" installed, return to the factory program for a comparison and then be able to re-install the "Edge" if it makes a noticable difference.
Is this feasable?

The Edge is a good choice for the LB7. It is one of the few that offers Allsion protection. It does not alter factory programing in the ECM. It plugs into the wiring harness under the hood and alters signals there. Can be installed/uninstalled in a matter of minutes. Can also simply shut it off if needed. Add the Attitude controller for EGT, power adjust on the fly, and extra tuning capabilities. All in all a great piece of equipment.

mr b: rick hit it on the head, seams to be a nice all around unit as i stated earlyier, and works very well on a lb7 motor witch you have, iis allways nice to read your egt, and boost

What they are saying is right on. I assure you that it makes a noticeable difference even on level 1 on my truck. Good Luck.
