i just found out i had an 5th gear lockout on my 03:eek: , is this all i need to dyno in 4th gear, i have been told i can start around 50mph and run up to 85mph with 285 tires, does that sound right

also should one use the towhaul button when locked in fourth, what gives the best hp, thanks fred:grd:

OD LO will keep it outa 5th. with TH activated and the OD lock out engagued you can sping from about 2100ish(any lower and it will kick down) up till the govner. Play around a bit to find the point were it wont kick down into 3rd when you wood it. Its a deecent soulution if you dont have a scanner to tell it to LU in 4. If you do a 5th gear run you will probably hit the speed limiter so it would keep you from getting a full pull.

i can get my hands on a tech two for the weekend event but this does seam to do the same thing, just tried it out, started at about 50mph and went righ up to 3500rpm, no problem, do you feel it puts the same amount of load as the fth gear does, it seamed to go very fast, and it was their, now woth no2 on it will even go faster, if we have time i will do a run of both, thanks fred

p.s. the stock lockout works great, cannot beleive that i did not know about it sooner, guess i was thinking about the 01,02 i had
