Hello all. Just found/joined the site. Man I can't believe all the info/opin here! You could'nt knock the smile off my face with a hammer. I have a couple Dmaxs, '01 and '02 both 3500s. Yes both with ZF trans. Love the trucks, but now I know it is the DMF that I hate. '01 has been replaced once (not driven much or hard) '02 has been replaced twice sounds like it is ready for number three (my daily driver, diven at times very hard). Like everyone else I knew something was up with the clutch/fly wheel but never could get a good explaination from dealer. The '02 they told me the springs on the clutch (pressure plate?) were breaking causing the rattle. The first two times were before the 65k marker, now at 67k+. Anyway glad to find out about the new DMF and the after market options. Man am I glad you guys (and gals if there are any) are here. I love reading the posts about being the only ZF their dealers have seen, or the only one in a group of allisons. I know how you feel. Ain't it great!
