Get a 1982 Doge omni with a stick. 40MPG.

Funny how they brag about 30 MPG, 25 years later isn't it?

Buy an egg, put it betweem your foot and the accelerator pedal and try not to break it. Probably the best and cheapest aftermarket device to save fuel!

Or Put a block of wood UNDER the pedal to reduce travel!

In all seriousness, driving habits probably have more effect on fuel mileage than any aftermarket parts. If driving an automatic try to get to up to speed where TCC is locked and in high gear fairly quickly (without dogging it). Turn of A/C when not needed. Eliminate weight you may be carrying around needlessly. Keep idling to a minimum. Make sure your truck has the correct thermostat/thermostats to keep the temps at a minium of 180-190. I once had an old Isuzu Imark diesel thet went from 25mpg to 34mpg when I changed the 140degf thermostat the PO had installed to a 180degf. And most of all, slow down.

I would suggest new air filter , new injectors, and maybe a new timing chain if there is a lot of miles on the beast.

Depending on what you do with your truck you might consider a new set of rear end gears.

Get something smaller than a dually unless you actually tow with it.

Slow down. Go 60 instead of 75. Save $30 per tankful, or more.

Could move down to Venezuela where fuel prices are $.12 per gallon.
