Sorry for asking this but I have read & read & read. Some of these threads are 30 pages.
My only 2 questions are:
#1- The trippen overhead mount holds what size gauges? No switches, just 2 gauges.
#2- How do I make sure I have the "extras" needed for install located way up there?
Thanks in advance,
Todd

Here is a link to Trippin's mounts & other stuff. The pics should answer your questions

The Trippin mount holds 2-1/16" gauges, which are the most common.

Then go to the DIY section and read the bmduramax gauge install with the pictures, it should tell you everything you need to know.

Depending on which gauges and how you route the wires will change what you need to do the install. I install mine with the gauge wires going down the passengerside a-pillar and out through the rubber door grommet. This brings the wires into the engine compartment just below the Passengerside battery. With Autometer gauges the pryo leads were just long enough. I used a 16" boost hose kit because I wasn't sure what would be needed but afterwards I trimed off 4'3" so a 12' kit would have just made it. I then ran the power and gauge light wires down the driverside a-pillar and connected in the back of the fuse box on that side. Used about 9' on each wire. I grounded the gauges to the metal just above the gauges. Hope that helps some.
